This unusual 9ct gold wedding ring looks like a piece of jewellery that has washed up onto a British beach, maybe a treasure found on a seashore or a cove around the UK coastline?
It comes in 9ct gold and measures approximately 4mm wide. We decided on a 4mm width because we think there is just enough gold to make the ring look substantial, but not so much that it becomes unaffordable, and it also boasts a suitable wall thickness. We also offer a 6mm version in this section, which means the option to purchase this design as a ring set for a wedding is available. On top of differing width choices. This ring is also available in 9ct white gold. We don't plate our white gold, so it comes in its natural off-white colour, something we think adds to the unique nature of these rings. The ring is rounded in profile and comes with a comfort fit.
Made in Cornwall, this beautiful wedding ring is meticulously handcrafted in the traditional way. The texture somewhat resembles that of pebbles found on beaches, washed smooth by the continuous motion of the tides over time. The surface reflects the natural cycles of the seashore and reminds us of coastal seascapes with its slightly pitted quality. The surface has a soft, natural colour.
Not only does it have the texture mentioned in the above paragraph, but it boasts a slightly twisted or distorted quality to the profile; therefore, when laid flat, it does not rest entirely straight - a real, authentic piece of Cornish treasure, then?
