A pair of round silver stud earrings with gold hearts made from sterling silver. The silver comes oxidised to a blackened, charred texture. It is incredibly dark and contrasts beautifully with the natural colour silver on the rims. The oxidised surface almost looks gouged. You can see in the photographs the picked, scooped and chipped shaping all cut by hand.

Both earrings feature a raised 9ct yellow gold heart; its shaping is reminiscent of a freehand shape cast into a solid. The profile of both earrings is concave featuring a rounded polished silver reverse. They measure approximately 8mm across.
