Top Gear Industrial Titanium Ring
A titanium ring featuring an outer engraving of gears and cogs. In the 1800's, Central England was famous for something known as the Industrial Revolution, an age when pioneers of industry invented mechanisation to produce goods for the consumers of that day. Large factories were built to house these massive machines that were manned by hundreds of people.
This ring we think represents that era exceptionally well with a cog or gears style of patterning that flanks the ring's outer. It is easy to imagine them all spinning together as the design is very detailed and produced with pinpoint accuracy using a laser engraving technique. A nod to the industrial age is a slightly pitted pattern where the laser has worked the titanium. Anyone with a keen interest in machinery, industry or mechanics will love this ring.
The ring itself measures 7mm, comes in a choice of either a polished or a satin finish and is flat in profile with slightly rounded edging. Tough and hard wearing the designer tells us that this ring takes an hour to engrave using modern techniques.
