Scottish Celtic Cross Ring
A Scottish Celtic cross ring which is shown here in yellow gold and is approximately 13mm wide at its widest point (the circle head). Celtic crosses were an important symbol used by the Celts as they depicted the four corners of the earth and its four elements. They are more commonly seen on stone pedestals these days which was an idea introduced by Christianity.
The Celtic cross is one of the most familiar of all the Celtic symbols. Most of us at one time have visited Celtic crosses on holiday in such places as Wales, Scotland and Ireland, all of which have the Celtic history rooted deep in their past.
This ring is available in white gold also pictured. Please note that our white gold rings come in their natural white gold colour which has a slightly yellow/cream/off-white hue. We only rhodium plate these rings unless requested to do so at an extra cost.
